Fishing update
Walleye fishing has been superb with fish hitting small minnow baits/rattle traps. No live bait required. The biggest walleye yesterday was 26 inches and 6 1/2 pounds.
Lake Trout are scattered, the shallow bite seems to be coming to an end with most fish being caught on 40 foot flats outside the holes.
The sunny warm weather has got pike moving shallow, pike fishing is getting better by the day.
Bass are everywhere.
Water temps are holding steady at 64 degrees.
