Lake Winnebago 6-5-10
I was able to get away from working on the big boat and fished the Stockbridge Walleye Tournament yesterday 6-5-10. Fishing was OK we ended up catching 15 walleyes but only 2 where over 15" and that is how big they had to be to weigh them. We were fishing the mud between Garlic Island and Calumet County Park and we were anywhere from 2 to 4 miles off of the East shore. Our best luck was pulling cranks 80 to 120' behind the Off Shore boards. We were using Reef Runners, Wally Divers, and Minnow Raps in various colors but the best seemed to be Wally diver in Orange Peel, and Orange with a red stripe, the Reef Runners we were use Rip Shads in Black and Gold, Mud Minnow, and the Minnow Raps were in the Perch color. Lots of Sheeps and White Bass caught on harnesses, so we didn't run them to long. Looking forward to the next 2 weekends for the Merc and Otter Street.
Good Luck and Tight Lines to All
Capt. Steve is OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
