    Steve,

What lb. test of flor. carbon leader do you use, also brand? Do you use flor. for all of your musky fishing? What length do you use?
    Thanks.

for muskys if i'm trolling particularly bouncing bottom/rocks i prefer wire.
for most casting applications i use about 24-30" of 80# floro tied to my mainline then a 18-20" stealth tackle 100-130# floro leader with a swivel/snap.
or 26-30" of 80 # tied directly to my mainline with 4-6" of 90# wire with a small swivel and a snap or split ring.
for walleyes if you're using a hi viz line or superline a small swivel and 4-6' of 8# floro makes a world of diff especially in clearer waters,if you are encountering alot of pike and bite offs go to 14-17 #,you'll have to cut off/retie a bit after a pike but it will eliminate most bite offs if you back reel or use a light drag and it won't affect the walleye bite.

When you mention wire, is it solid wire or 7 strand?
