First 50 of the year!

I was out walleye fishing last friday afternoon when a fellow angler hooked into this beast. I put the guy in my boat and we followed the girl around until I could net her. They fish had spawned already but was really healthy. She was caught on 8lb test and a #8 hook with a chub!
She measured 52 1/4 x 24. It was the guys first muskie of his life and he was freaking out! I think he might come to the good side now
With the warmest spring ever in MN the water temps are the highest Ive ever seen this time of year. The fish have spawned and things are looking really really good. The 5th can't get here quick enough!
