Thread: Southern Wisconsin Area Lakes Report

  1. Default Southern Wisconsin Area Lakes Report

With the surface temps near 60 degrees the Largemouth Bass and Panfish are just starting to move shallow as they begin to build nests for spawning on sunny days. The high winds this past week has made for dirty water and tuff boat control while fishing still we're catching good numbers. Fair amounts of Walleye have been caught on area lakes mostly by jigging and trolling shallow and in deeper waters during the day and at night. We have moved several musky the past week while targeting bass. Had a nice one caught on the figure eight on for a short while till it spit the hook out while trying to get away and several right up to boatside! Some pictures of my buddies from the Rockford Fishing Website.
