    Default High Water Caving

About 10-12 years ago when the water was 10+ feet above summer pool in May, we killed 'em in the backs of the creeks casting spinner baits into the flooded willow trees. This was before the great weed outbreak of 1999.

Anyone else have any experiece with this? I've done the same thing after that, but no luck. I just wonder if it would apply right now.

Yes that is what your suppose to do. The weed break out has nothing to do with it. It just takes time for the fish to move in when you have a quick raise in the water. If you think back to May like you stated the water temps are around 78-80 and it always takes 4 or 5 days to get started the same story now..
