    Smile Camp pictures April 18th

    Hi All,
We took a trip to camp to do a few odd jobs and what a beautiful and peaceful place it is. I am enclosing a few pictures that Laura took for me, I forgot my camera, but Laura always comes prepared and thank you Laura. As you can see the wild life have the run of the camp right now. We saw Canadian Geese, Grouse, all kinds of birds and lots of deer signs all around the camp. You will see Laura by the rock we found in the woods, Shirley's cute little Daisy by the lake and Mia on the same rock Laura is standing by. Enjoy the pictures and remember soon you will be hera and enjoying the beautiful Witch Bay area.
    Always,
    Gail

    Default Lonely Rock

There is a rock on the way up to Lake LaBelle that reminds of the rock in your picture. The odd thing about each rock is that they stand as lonely sentinels. There are no similar sized rocks in the picture and maybe none visible from where the rock sits. There are no similar rocks to be seen from the one by LaBelle, either. If one stops to consider the forces that moved rocks of this size for who know how many miles then left them for us to find tens of centuries later, one begins to realize how utterly insigificant we are no matter how important or how powerful we may percieve ourselves to be.

Neat pictures Gail. Thanks for posting them.

Can't wait to get into camp.

Strange. I haven't really been thinking about fishing at all. Been planning our spring scouting for deer to get ready for next autumn's bow hunt. Been dealing with selling 2 vehicles and buying one plus helping friends with landscaping problems, etc. Been doing the changeover from winter to summer around the house. Then yesterday as I was walking the dogs I had a vision of being in the boat, headed out of Witch Bay into Andrew, and I just couldn't wait to be on the water.

Those pictures really whetted my appetite further.

By the way, how did Laura get onto the top of that rock?
