    Default DNR Netting Success

    Did you guys see this?

    http://www.in.gov/portal/news_events/53261.htm

They set a record for their muskie egg-collection this year. This is obviously great news for the future of our fishery.

    Good luck to all

Does anybody know where we can get access to lake survey information for Webster? The most recent I can find online is from 2005 where they said there were 5 adult musky per acre!!

    Talking huh

I know little of all this, however I was present a couple months ago as the DNR checked the nets on webster and brought in the fish to collect data on, then release into a channel. The numbers were much lower than they inspected, but most the fish looked healthy and the DNR guys were awesome to talk to. This could mean a million things obviously as so much effects their findings, since I get skunked quite often I am going to assume a lot of the musky packed up and headed to Minnesota..hahaha.
