    Talking 50# (Almost!) Musky!!

The attached picture is of a 53" 47# musky that was captured briefly recently by local DNR officials as part of a survey; the photo is courtesy of fellow musky enthusiast and local Fisheries Technician Garrett Drach. This absolute p-i-g is back swimming in local waters after passing on her genes via spawning to a future generation of giant muskies.

The picture says it all: If you're not fishing muskies with us, you're missing the boat - we have some MONSTER muskies here!

    Tight lines,

    Same fish?

A 53" fish, which was tagged two months ago, was found dead on the Mosinee Flowage Monday.

Man, that breaks my heart - what a major freakin' bummer!! At least she passed on season after season worth of big-fish genes. There's more out there...
