pre-spawn walleye
We are still finding some big pre-spawn walleye and following some cold water. photos at: http://www.reelactioncharters.com/photo-log.shtml Last night produced some BIG fish! Tonight we'll probably target the shallower water for post-spawn fish. With water temps hanging in the 40's in Sturgeon Bay we should see weeks of good walleye fishing to come..... As we get to the 50 degree mark I expect to see lots of action. This should coincide well with the opener of smallmouth bass and the walleye limit changing back to 5 from 1.....
Good luck

hot bite
The walleye fishing was incredible this weekend... Lots of north wind, and lots of COLD, but I broke a sweat a few time as the action was pretty hot and heavy!! We had a couple doubles including two in the same net! I'd expect a strong bite to continue for the next week weeks with most fish off the spawn and getting very active!
Good luck
