Got back out today with my good friend Randy C. Got on the water around 6:30 am and fished until 1:30 pm. Water temps ranged from 52-55; clarity decent but somewhat murky in spots. Fished Marire, Bluff and Petite. Boated a nice 30" muskie on a Baby Shallowraider; raised a low 40" class fish on a Crane and Randy had another muskie blast his bucktail right at the boat and ended up losing it; all in about 7 seconds. Great time on the water and wouldn't you know it, the weather is going to change again.
Boating conditions are hazardous on the Fox Chain due to a severe drop in the water level of some 12-16" inches. I do not know why but I will be contacting the Stratton Dam this next week to see what is going on.
