The Great Lakes Fishery Commission met March 25,26 2010 in Windsor, Ont. Their task group objective was to bring the collective data to the conference and report their findings. Based on those findings and numbers set the creel limits for Walleye and Yellow Perch in Lake Erie for 2010 & 2011. Their decision was to keep the Walleye limits at 4 per person per day in March and April and 6 per person per day in May of 2010 through February 2011. Keeping the limits at 4 per person per day in March & April of 2011. Bottom Line it stayed the same as it is now. Yellow perch will increase by 5 fish per day from the creel limits now posted in the respective Basins. I will up date any further information as it becomes available. Capt. Ron
