    Default Walleye run it on

If you like to fish. This is your year to catch some walleye. The ice is out early and we are catching fish. We are finding fish from the mouth of poygan to New London. Everyone that I talked to is anchoring up and fishing in 6 to 8 feet of water. DO NOT fish the deep hole or in the current. If you were coming up the river you would find the easies way to come up and it is not in current. Give this a try and you will have a blast.

River rigs with a stinger is working make sure you are on bottom.

I also use jigs when I am anchored also make sure you are on bottom. That is the trick and enjoy the early spring.

    Smile Wolf river waleyes

Thanks for the great tip. I think it will really help out a lot of anglers that are still targeting the deeper holes.
