Sunday and monday fished with James Holst from in-depth outdoors(www.in-depthoutdoors.com) we filmed a nice late ice crappie show. We fished in the weeds in about 8-10 feet of water. the crappies were bitting super light and really the only way to get them jigging was by sight fishing them, but we managed to get them that way and some on tip-downs. The ice was about 10-14 inches thick but there was alot of open water around shore making it touch to get out there, with this heat its going to be really tough to get out there, even with it getting cold again next week, the ice is still going to go out soon I feel.

The show should air on in-depth outdoors on fox sports north next winter.

Good luck,
