Though the results are spotty, some anglers are still having some decent success on the ice. Catfish Lake was giving up northerns and walleyes during the day on Saturday. The fish were in 5 feet of water and hitting sucker minnows and some shiners on tip ups. Also some success was had by a couple of anglers for crappies, they caught 80 crappies up to 14 inches on small jigs with white plastics.

The perch are small in the reports we are getting, and Kentuck is not biting very well for anything is the word.

Big Muskellunge Lake is giving up small walleyes on tip ups near the deep weeds.

There is only 12 days left of the Wisconsin Game Fish season, then it's panfish only. There is only 67 days left until open water 2010 fishing season begins.

Good luck to those of you still on the ice.
