Ice fishing around the area remains about the same for me, a few pike and a few bluegills each time out. Crappies have been tough to come by in any number or size, I don't know why really. As the days get longer we hope to see a better crappie bite with the next warming trend.

Setting out tip-ups in the weeds and weed edges for pike is always good for a few flags, pike are around 20 to 26 inches mostly. Walleye suckers are a good choice for bait.

Ice is good with about 24 inches in most places.
