Fishing report for 2-13-10

Hi everyone,

Had a chance to get out for about 3 hours Saturday afternoon and evening. Drilled a lot of holes, which was good, because I fished many of them before I found them. Perch that is.
I like to jig for Perch during the day, than switch off to Walleyes. I had a bonanza with the perch for an hour and a half. Than I focused on the Walleyes.
I only found one, but with the 14 Perch I kept, I easily had enough for a fish fry.
The lake I fished is a clear dep lake,and normally I find the Perch in deep sand grass. That is why it took me so long to find them. They were on a shallow soft bottom hump. Normally a Walleye spot.
That's why you should be mobile. I'm going out again today, and will start where I found them yesterday. If they are not there, I'll be drilling a lot of holes again untill I find them. Will post my results tomorrow.
