Capt. Fritz more Ice Fishing
The Northern and brown trout fishing has been great with some real nice fish being caught. I caught and released a Northern last Sat. over 40inches. Sorry of all the times to forget the cammra. We had a number of big Northerns this past week. Jason my firstmate had a dandy to picture at bottom fish was 42 inches long and 22lbs.
White Fish have been biting real good. We are on a great spot right now. It is nothing to see ten fish on the cammra at a time. We also have been seeing some Walleyes swim through but no luck in this spot for them.
Some perch being caught off Erinie's and Choudoirs at times it has been real good with some big Perch.
As always check with locals about the ice conditions Roger at Steven's Pier is a pretty good source for this area and Depreys in Dyeksville.
