Fishing through the ice this week was a little tougher than it has been recently. I got one nice eater sized walleye yesterday morning on a tip up and walleye sucker set up on a mid depth sand flat. My friend and I missed a couple other ones too, one tip up fish and one jigging fish. Overall the walleye bite was slow this week.
I got the kids out for bluegills too but getting a good number of quality fish has been a struggle. Were going to try some new lakes for 'gills, do a little more exploring the rest of the winter, should be fun.
Good luck and good fishing,
