Question for ty
Hey Ty
We usually fish the Chip the last week of June and this year I was thinking of changing it up a bit. A friend invited us to go to Vermilion to his cabin that week to fish (he is a walleye guy) but I plan on musky fishing in my boat. I have a video with you fishing vermilion (bad fish outdoors) and have a question a few people have said that late June is to early might get a few follows but that's about it. Don't know how familiar your are with Vermilion but you know how to fish musky! hopefully get something worked out for late August on the Chip.
Thanks

For Vermillion it kind of depends on the spring. If it's a cold spring you might run into some sluggish fish out there. If it's a warm spring you will be hitting one of the best bites of the year. Don't be afraid to throw some gliders at that time of year. There can be a great glider bite out there at that time. Try some bright colors like firetiger and florescent orange.
