Been hitting the lower bay at Suamico. 13 to 15" of ice and lots of driving up to a point shortly past littletail.
Not much action. Saw three guys running to a flag, that tells me it's a slow day

Any current info on ice conditions or fishing after the warm weekend. Coming up next Wed and are hoping not to have to haul 4wheelers. We have no real plan as of now and are open to any and all species so any info is helpful.
Tight Lines and Thanks in advance.
The ice is getting better every day... the water on top has frozen and it is very smooth.... The lower bay has had a lot of vehicle traffice the northern bay is still sketchy... some open cracks had water rolling into them from the rain on Sunday... The water running into them ate a lot of ice away making for even worse conditions, but the cold should have helps shore up those issues.... Good perch and whitefishing going on for us but the super cold has slowed things down this week.... Hopefully it will warm some by the weekend to make fishing a little easier and help get the fish to bite again... Take a loof at last weekend fish at: http://www.reelactioncharters.com/photo-log.shtml
Thanks Captain Scott...our group fished with you last year (we had the big trailer with the covered Gator and wheelers that we didn't have to use). Liked it up that way so much we are coming back this year. The perch were non-existent last year so that is great that they are potentially available! Any tips or areas you can give up for the perch would be greatly appreciated.

Tight Lines!
Hello, new to the forum...nice site.
Looking for some general pointers on Pike. My cousin and I will be fishing Saturday and we will be leaving from his house in Howard. We have considered three options:
1. Sturgeon Bay
2. Little Sturgeon Bay
3. Somewhere in Lower Green Bay
We fished Sturgeon Bay a year ago with no luck...I think it was because we had no idea of what type of structure or depth to fish. As for Lower Green Bay, the only thing people ever talk about are whitefish and perch...which is fine, but we can't really deduce a good place to go for Pike.
Any general pointers greatly appreciated!
Sorry for the delay getting back to you... We've been busy on the ice! Unfortunatley I am not much help on the Northern Pike. I fish them early ice and then again on soft water when the canal opens up, but I am concentrating on perch, walleye, and whitefish right now. We fished this weekend and came accross a some nice walleye. Photos at: http://www.reelactioncharters.com/photo-log.shtml
We have good ice conditions now and solid temp to keep things from getting messy... If the weather holds we should see solid conditions right up to March 15th the close of perch fishing and the last day you can keep shanties on the bay....
