Water temps continue to hover in the high 30s to low 40s in the
Eagle River area.

Muskie in the Eagle River area are hitting outside of weed edges in 10-25
feet of water. Crankbaits, glidebaits and suckers in the 12-15 inch range
are all working. Some trophies are being reported, including good numbers in
the 45 inch range.

Walleye are putting on a good bite in the Eagle River area. Fish break edges
in 15-30 feet of water, and use a jig with an XL fathead minnow.

There's good crappie action in the Eagle River area. Fish main lake basins
in 25-30 feet of water. The crappies are suspending over structure like
cribs and brush piles. Use a crappie minnow under a slip bobber.

Northern are hanging in and around weeds in 15 feet of water or less. Use a
walleye sucker on a jig, or a crankbait. Action is fair to good.

Percy are hanging with the walleyes in the Eagle River area. Use a fathead
on a jig or under a slip bobber. Action is fair to good.

Hunters in the Eagle River area are doing very well with grouse this season,
and bucks are moving after does as the rut starts to move into high gear.
