I've been musky fishing all over Sawyer and Washburn Counties this past week, fishin's been good. There seems to be a better afternoon bite right now, most of our fish are being caught between 11am and 5pm. Live suckers are catching more fish than baits, but we've gotten a few to hit gliders, twitchers, soft plastics and jerkbaits too.
We're finding fish shallow and deep, on weeds, rocks and wood, just have to try all three until they start to show. The other day we had action from nine fish in three hours, only caught two but it was fun. Intense feeding windows for sure.
Good luck and good fishing,
Jim Stroede
