Had a pretty good week of guiding despite some very bad weather. Water temps dropped more in some areas of the chain and we now have a range of 41-47 degrees on the chain. This week we found lots of big crappies, some big bluegills and one big rockbass for our panfish hunting. Walleye were tough for me this week, we boated one nice 23.5" and that was it. After seeing that the walleye were not in the greatest mood we switched it up and went pike and musky fishing. First we spent a few hours in some horrid cold rain and missed one fish that was probably big considering the lure it tried to eat and it left some hefty tooth marks in the brand new lure. Next we went after eating size pike and caught around ten or so. On the last day we went for the big girls again and Joe W. put his first musky in the bag. Pictured is a big pike I forgot to post from the early fall, the 23.5" walleye, mess of crappies and Joe's 45+ musky.

Thanks for the great week Wes and Joe...see you in the South.
