    Weather has stabilized in the Eagle River area, with many lakes
    having cleared up nicely, and water temps still hanging in the mid to low
    40s,

    Muskie action is good in the Eagle Rvier area. Fish outside weed edges and
    first break edges in 15 feet of water or less. Crankbaits, glidebaits, and
    suckers in the 12-15 inch range on quick-strike rigs, are all producing.

    Walleye in the Eagle River area are hitting in 5 to 25 feet of water off of
    break edges. Use a jig and an XL fathead. Good action.

    Northern are hanging with the muskies outside of weed edges in 15 feet of
    water or less. Use a small sucker or a Husky Jerk in a minnow or perch
    pattern.

    Perch are locating with the walleye in the Eagle River area. Fish break
    edges in 5 to 25 feet of water. Use a jig and a minnow, or a crappie minnow
    under a slip bobber. The perch will be near the bottom.

    Crappies in the Eagle River area are locating in two areas. Fish deeper
    water (20-30 feet) over cribs or brush piles, or on the weed edges and in
    the weeds in 15 feet of water or less. Use a crappie minnow under a slip
    bobber.

    Bluegill action is fair to good in the Eagle River area. Fish in and around
    the weeds in 15 feet of water or less. Use a waxie or a chunk of crawler
    under a slip bobber.

    Hunters in the Eagle River area are reporting seeing lots of grouse.
