    Default Musky Fishing Report

We've had typical fall fishing for the past couple of weeks. Fish are relating to the deepest weeds you can find that are still alive, and a sharp drop off close to the weed edge is also important. Steep dropping rock bars and rocky shorelines are also holding fish. Locate the baitfish around these types of structure and just keep fishing around them, feeding windows have been short but you will get several chances at fish during these 15-30 minute windows. The best times to hit a feeding window is around sunrise or set, moonrise or set, and anytime there is an approaching rain or snow shower. Some good baits to throw lately have been double cowgirls and bulldawgs, along with deep diving cranks, suckers have also produced some fish. Remember to be persistent, this time of year you can go several hours without seeing a fish, and then two or three fish come in the boat in a matter of minutes. Good Luck!!

(Both pictured fish were caught on double cowgirls during moon phases)
