Fishing Report, Sept. 22
Dave and I got out for another spur-of-the-moment trip. Hitting the river and looking for enjoyable outing we started with some shorelines. Working the boat into the current and using bucktails and twitch baits. Shoreline contained timber, small weed pockets and rocks. Dave had first action with a nice 40-inch class fish follow in on his bucktail only to miss it at the boat. Next action was relating to some rock and a current edge. Here Dave put a healthy 35-incher in the net.
Water temp was hovering around 70 degrees.
