The Chip

I'll be going to the Chip the weekend of 10-10 and was wondering what the water level is at and if anyone can tell me the water temp? We have been going to the Chip for almost 30 years, and have had some great walleye fishing in the past. What has it been like this year? Thanks

Water is down just under 3 feet and water temps still running in the 70s. That will likely change by October abd cool down a bunch. Walleyes have been deeper and more like summer fishing but that is starting to change. Crappies are active as are the muskies. I think you can expect good fishing by the time you get here.
