Sept 15th and 16th report

The last two days were a little tough. We boated one low thirty inch tiger muskie yesterday and saw four others. That was Lou's first time with a baitcasting rod and he did really good. His son Matt caught the fish and had the follows. One went around in the figure eight a few times. The day before we had one hit and I blew that one. I'm thinking it might be tough for the next few days until some change in weather comes in. You never really know though.

What baits seem to be moving the few fish you are seeing?

Bucktails, jerkbaits and topwater. So, basically no pattern. More on bucktails than anything but that should change shortly.

Despite the tough conditions both myself and my dad had a good time on Wednesday the 16th. Looks like I was the lucky one to catch a fish during the week. It wasn't huge, but I certainly won't scoff at a low 30's tiger muskie. Thanks again for getting us on some fish. It was the largest number of muskie I have seen in one day so it was great. We will certainly be looking you up again when we get back up there.
