Fishing Report - August 29th
Jim Anderson, won a full-day trip with me from an on-line auction that supported Operation Musky 2. We got on the water this past Saturday and spent the day looking for a strike or two. Earlier that morning Jim landed a beautiful northern about 30-inches. Just as the day was about to end Jim yelled...there's one! After a brief battle a beautiful 42 1/2-incher was resting at the bottom of the net.
You see, not only did Jim get rewarded for his support of Operation Musky (wwww.operationmuskie.org) but 20 Veterans got to experience the great musky fishing on Lake of the Woods.
Water temp started in the low 70's and by the time we got off it was in the upper 60's. Strong north, north/west wind. Water level and conditions are good.
