Thread: Weekend Results?

    Default Weekend Results?

How did you all do this weekend?

I was out Friday-Sunday...took Monday off, which after I woke up that would have been the day to be on the water since it was raining and cooler than it has been all week!!! LOL

Fishing has been pretty decent for us with lots of nice fish hitting the net.

Anybody else do any good this past weekend? There were definately ALOT less boats out on the water than in years past.

I fished Tippy and James over the weekend and Labor day. No luck with the Musky Gear, switched over to my spincast with beatlespinnerbait, first cast pow, 36" musky. Had another jump out of the water trying to eat the bass I was lifting up to boat. Got wet on that one, in more ways than one. Maybe I need to downsize my musky baits.

Fished on Loon trying to take the Webster Club's money-no dice! But the full moon was beautiful on the water! First time me and my son have been out in about two months, we needed that! No fish caught or seen, but a good time anyway! For those of you looking or thinking about Mike's new rod, I also had a family friend that's 15 yrs old in the boat with me for the second time. I had him set up with my new rod of Mike's paired with a 6600 BCX I bought for righty's in my boat. He loved the set up and said he loved how light the rod was. He tried to throw everything I had and had no problems and very few birdies. For new anglers and young one's that set up is hard to beat. Hope to get out and keep the net busy real soon!! Good Luck this Fall!! Post pictures for those of us who can't get out as much this fall!!

Take a Kid fishing he'll have a lifetime of memories!
