45" On a Pacemaker -1st Musky!

Last night out on the flowage I caught this 45” musky on a pacemaker. This is my first musky – After missing so many fish over the last couple years it was great to finally land one.

That is a beautiful fish indeed. Good thing you were fishing at night. Had it been daylight hours your shirt would have spooked the fish for sure !

Way to go Eric. Heck of a fish for your first one. As a suggestion, you might want someone else to hold your fish being that you are comparable to most NBA centers. Nice work. We'll have to celebrate over a couple cold ones next time you come up.

Thanks Ty - I will see you up in October at the Hayward Lakes Tournament. Tim is riding up with me.

I thought one day you thought the two of us were about the same size - But I guess there are not many 6' -7" 300lb musky fisherman out there. Related to the picture - It was a real solid fish considering how big I am.
