After a pretty nasty summer we are getting the nicest stretch of weather we have seen in quite some time. Warm stable weather has triggered some consistantly good multi-species action. Walleyes, bass, and crappies have been the most active. Weeds or wood in the 5 to 15 foot depth range has been the best. Lots of undersize walleyes but plenty of keepers as well, just good action.

Bait of choice has been either minnows or crawlers depending on the day. Yesterday minnows were definitely better. The bite should continue to stay strong as cooler nights are slowly dropping water temps which will trigger Fall feeding activity.
