Lake Waubesa: continues to be the best on the chain producing both numbers and size for game and panfish. The best bite for big bluegills has been out in deep water (18-20 FOW) on bottom. They also have been caught suspend over the same deep water with slower results. Some decent walleyes and fair numbers are being caught while trolling spinner blades of bottom bounces off main lake points and over scattered weed. Largemouth bass have been very active in the shallow water (3-6 FOW)late and early in the day where sinkos and top water lures have been taking good numbers. Reports coming in have a few musky being caught over deep scattered weeds on spinners and small plastics.

Lake Monona: has good numbers of fair sized gills being caught they are still along the deep weedlines in (15-20 FOW) Schools of largemouth bass are moving shallower (6-12FOW)in scattered weeds where texas rigged plastic worms and jig/pig have been working good. Casting and trolling for musky has been fair with a few smaller fish reported caught.

Lake Mendota: smallmouth have been caught on deep water mid lake humps in(15-25 FOW) A few large bluegills have been caught as cooler water temps have really slowed this bite.
