    Default New Guy From NEPA

I'm new to this forum, but not to fishing. I see this is mainly for western PA and I live near Scranton. I'm looking for any potential Musky waters in this area. Any tips would be much appreciated.

I haven't fished up that way, but I've heard a little about some of the waters up there.

Your best bet would probably be the Susquehanna River. Numbers and size there.

Lake Wallenpaupack has some big fish but it can be a madhouse with pleasure boaters/jetskiers. I would only fish it on weekdays.

The Delaware River has muskies in it too.

I'm sure there are more up that way. You can look at the Fish Commissions web site. It will give you biologist reports, stocking reports, etc. for the waters in the region you pick.

I've never fished it but the Lehigh River has produced some large musky. I think the same guy has two on the largest in state list from the Lehigh last year.
