No, not the kids.... My downriggers. I had them in the water yesterday and cant beleive the whining coming from them... really loud. I dont think they are supposed to do that. Anything I can do to eliminate the whining sound?

Downrigger hum is a good thing....usually means that you are in the proper speed zone!

They make a braided downrigger line, Power Pro I believe, thats supposed to stop the whine of your downrigger cable.

OK! I've caught 2 fish on em so far, I'll assume it is a 'good' sound and not worry about changing anything out.
