Big Game baits

What size Big Game baits are worth throwing now or early fall, say withing the next month. 6 inch, 8 inch, surface or the 7 inch that goes a little deeper? Do you guys use the sraight retrieve or the twitch, twitch, pause? Do any of these type baits have a rattle inside? Thanks

I have both a 7" and 8" made of balsa. There are no rattles in them. I've always used the twitch, twitch, pause method. Have had some success moving fish, but haven't landed one on them yet.

All of them are good. The surface twitcher is good when it's calm or you've spotted a fish. The 7 and 8 inch models both work well. Use them all.
