Is it really that cold on the water?

I'm seeing pictures of people all bundled up in the month of July. This is our 3rd year fishing up there and other than in the mornings it’s been pretty pleasant. Has it been real windy? What kind of clothes do I need to bring to be on the lake? We are heading up there Sat-Sat. I would really appreciate the help.

I was sure hoping to hear something from someone up that way. We are leaving from Nebraska tomarrow at 5am should be at Walker at 3pm. We are excited.

The weather in a nutshell, sucks. The water temps dropped several degrees to 63 this morning. We are experiencing unusually cold temps even for Mn. Bring layers of clothes that can be shed as the temps rise during the day. Also some good rain gear. Gobal warming?
