Default Walleye's Move Towards Shallow Water

Well the last few days have been a challenge, however we found walleye's in 15 feet of water. We have been fishn near the turnaround bouy for weeks know, with grass beds, small undersized walleye's, and massive amounts of boats have spooked fish unbelievable. We went on a search for something new and did we found them. Walleye's have moved towards Crane Creek State Park in 15'-22' of water, and also K Can area's, most fish are being caught trolling little rippers of boards and casting may-fly rigs tipped with worms.

Default Trip on the Erie Drifter with Captain Tom Straus

We flew all the way from Portland, Oregon to enjoy an outstanding recreational experience with Capt. Tom. The accommodations were very nice and the fishing was better than expected. Being from the salmon country in the pacific NW we were a bit cynical about the fishing. Tom knows what he is doing and really put us on the fish.

If I fished the Great Lakes consistently, I would pay attention to what Capt. Tom has to say.

    Thanks for a great experience,

    Chuck
