    Default Spring Creek

I fish from shore and last year was out looking for a place to try upstream (?) of cherokee so I took one of those roads (N. Shore Bay Dr.) off of Hwy M and drove around. It looked very anti-shorefishing and private from the road. Today just for fun I was looking at a million dollar house for sale online and noticed much of the land around spring creek is part of Gov. Nelson State Park. Anyone ever get back there? Would someone just park near where you would go out ice fishing and walk toward the creek along some trail? Maybe it's not worth it but with current it might be a good place to try during the summer heat and miss some of those weeds.

    Default tough to get to

    bobber-d,

i had the same idea a few years ago. it is really tough to get to the creek except where the road (forget the name) bridges over it. once you get down to the lake it's all private on one side which includes the point. getting to the creek most anywhere else is a difficult and marshy jungle.
