    Default best opener yet

Well our muskie opener turned out great. We had 190 fish in the boat in one week, shattering our old record of 189 in two weeks. Are largest fish was Rob's 50 1/4 caught on Crow Lake. Heath's boated the most fish with 26 for the week. Kristia Martin caught her first muskie a 47 1/2. All of us at Muskie Bay would like to thank Brett, Matt and Luke, we could not have done it with out you guys. Daniel Lee and Kristina had a great trip and we all look forward to watching there up coming show, Backstage & Backroads with Daniel Lee Martin www.backstageandbackroads.com.

We also want to thank all of our guest for coming, it was a great time for all. For all of you that plan on beating Dan at butt jarts, started getting your buns of steel videos out and get in shape.

From all of us at Muskie Bay Resort
Paul, Chris, Jake, Ash, Ashton and Devin Trinkner.

    Default Frat-House Opener Results

    Trinkners.

Thanks again for another incredible trip. Al and I have already started the countdown until next years trip and suffered severely from Kokanee and fishing withdrawls yesterday.

The frat house had our best opener for numbers by far. Luke, Aaron, and I ended up with 21 for the week; Ringo, Al, and Steve got 22; and Heath and Miller maintained their lead (despite missing Wednesday from self-inflicted injuries the night before) and boated 26 for the week. Biggest out of the cabin was a 48 3/4 by Al. Luke, Aaron, and I boated 3 47's, 1 46, and 3 45's with 40-41 being the average. Biggest fish we hooked was 48-49. Most of our fish were caught on Musky Buster Bucktails and a few of Jigs. The most memorable fish was watching a 45 incher follow Kristina's bait to the boat and eat three different times in the figure 8 and she hooked it on the last attempt but lost it seconds later. She made up for it 15 minutes later by catching her first muskie and it happened to be on a figure 8. It was a really nice 47 incher. It was awesome!

Thanks again Paul, Jake, Chris, and Ashley for a great trip. Going to Muskie Bay Resort every year in June is something we all hope to still be doing 20 years from now! Based on Al's face in this picture, you can bet he will be practicing butt jarts weekly until next opener.

    Thanks again.

Look at the cases of beer in that picture, its a wonder you guys could even function through out the week. Butt darts ehe? would this have something to do with all the screamin going on in the cabin above ours Friday night? Not sure if I want to know the details on that game.

The figure 8 was deadly last week, way more so than past years.

Doug......you do not want to know the details of that game and yes, that is what was responsible for all of the screaming until 2:30AM. It was a game that Paul showed us and considering he has life experiences from living in both Wisconsin and Canada.....needless to say it was right up his alley.

The 18 cases of beer were steadily drank throughout the week so it didn't get too out of hand.

Sorry for all the racket Friday night

Heck the racket didn't bother us, I had you guys pegged to playing beer pong that night, I am a little curious to what butt jarts is though. Whatever it was it must have been good to get Dan up on a chair danceing with a american flag.
