    Default Good weekend 6/09

Big walleyes are aggressively feeding right now if you can identify the narrow feeding windows, (Usually right around last light.) Crank baits either cast or rowtrolled has been the prefered presentation. Walleye location has been variable on each lake and from day to day. We are finding fish on structure, suspended near structure, and suspended in the main basin.
Muskie action has been good if you can find the pattern. Day to day and lake to lake a variety of paterns are working. Anything from top water to working buldawgs deep has been effective.
Here is a 25" walleye caught by Joey Rosanski which had been recently hit by a much larger fish. The 41" musky I caught on Sunday morning at 10 am hammered a top-raider.
