The walleye bite seems pretty strong on the rocks right now with the warming temps. Most of the usual humps are already producing some nice fish. The majority of the fish caught on the reefs are found where the reef drops off towards deeper water. The easiest way to work a reef is to just use a jig head and bounce it off the bottom.

Some people troll cranks around the rocks as well, but jigging is the way to go up here.

The walleyes have been snapping minnows up pretty quick for most of our anglers, but have been taking leeches as well.
