Had 8" of ice about a mile out from the terrace on the hump Thursday morning. We took a side by side out so quads are no problem.

Four wheelers are pretty much useless out there right now unless they are on tracks. Big mess of a storm coming in Thursday night. I would STRONGLY suggest snowmobiles for travel.

Bite has been slow in the go to spots. Tried a couple new spots yesterday and tonight. Got 1 nice eye on a tip up last night.

Forgot to mention the snow. It wasnt too bad at all. Some of the drifts were a little deep but nothing too deep for a 4x4 truck.

Fished off the terrace this morning. Walleye bite was slow but we switched over and caught a cpl nice whitefish later in the morning. Had my rhino out there no problem. Solid 8 to 10 inches of ice....

Ive seen a few guys off the terrace. Anybody got a measurement on the ice thickness out there? Was hoping to take my rhino out there tomorrow.

There is ice out there but no one has ventured out yet. Ive been keeping a close eye on it as I live across the street from the terrace and it is my easiest ice access.

If you have a smart phone get the navonics app for it. Cost $10 and it has both bays in great detail along with most inland lakes.
