Last year was a similar situation......smelly dead weeds floating all along the west shoreline into Stuckey Bay.

for what is is worth thin fins and bandit cranks, 200 & 300 series are working down here- red &/or orange colors because the water is a little cloudy, silver when it is clearer

Perch fishing on Lake Michigan has been excellent the last 2 weeks....
