I know the feeling, Chas. You experienced it with me. Don't trust tying your leader direct to your main line. Use a swivel. That hurt for a long, long, long time.
Thanks for the report---see ya Friday!
That's good to hear!
This has to be one of the guys from the lake association considering this. Lake associations have the right to charge a fee on a public ramp. Got this off a different website. This would be scary!
...
This is the first I'm hearing of this. Seems pretty ridiculous to me. I use the launch a lot. Who would the launch attendant work for? DNR? The town of St Germain? The wash down system sounds bogus....
Sweet Fish, Chas! I did the same thing all weekend and only caught big northern. Had fun but kind of got angry when I saw spots instead of stripes! Unfortunately, I won't be back up until the sucker...
Was out all last week fishing mainly BSG. My fish finder conked out so I had to fish this "old school".
Musky---Deeper weed edges 11-14 FOW. Used Bucktails and Rubber Baits. Had action using a...
no trolling allowed up there
How big were the first 2 fish? They look huge!
Lake Content has always been my go to for action on northern. Not very large but plenty in the 20-25" range. Fawn Lake has produced for me as well. Less action but chances for larger fish
Jeez, Chas---Awesome fish! Should I come up this weekend? You have an Opening?
Ron
Tom,
I can't wait to hear the reports that you are going to have in the future. I bet it's just gorgeous up there. We'll need some pictures for your site. I'm really looking forward to seeing you...
That was a good show, Rick. I like "Set the hook and ask questions later"
I miss it already!!!! Great Video
St. Germain Shell Station on Hwy 70 has them
I was out all day today. Hit it hard--three different lakes----nada on any musky. My hands are definitely sore. Threw everything, mostly cowgirls, home-made bucktails, shallow raider, swim 'n joe,...
Unbelievable Fish--too bad it didn't live

Two short strikes last evening--finally a little action. Made sure my hooks were "melt in their mouth" sharp. Will try again tonight.
Thanks for the report. I have been up since last Friday and have been experiencing frustration. Had one small follow on a rubber sucker (swim 'n joe) on High Lake on Saturday after tossing everything...
85% Are In Favor Of It
I think they ought to make it 50" and be done with it. There are 2 lakes that have a 50" minimum and one lake that opposed the 50" limit because it would attract too much attention to the lake as...
Just wanted to let Tom and Dave Four know that Dave's bucktails work really well here up in Wisconsin. My buddy and I found a couple in shallow water weeds Saturday morning during the cold front. We...

I checked your site out---its really nice. Its not just beginner information, there are a lot of interesting articles in there. Well thought out. What will the future site bring? Will you continue to...
