Water temp was 58 degrees today.
Last Sunday (the 20th) the water temps were mostly 64 degrees in the arms. Had three follows (40-ish and mid 40-ish) and put one in the boat (32).
Anybody know what the temps are currently???
Sooo... we got on the water at 6:30... with about a hundred other boats. What was the deal... a tournament???
We only moved (to our knowledge) two fish and hooked up one and boated zero. My...
Nice!
Thanks for the info Chad.
Thanks. I'm considering heading there Sunday. If you see two guys in a Hyde fly-fishing drift boat, please don't laugh too hard. :)
There hasn't been a lot of activity on here, so it's kinda hard to tell, but has the muskie spawn already occurred or is it delayed by all the up and down temps. Any guesses, educated or otherwise?...
Jim,
We pounded it pretty hard for ten hours on Wednesday. The wind wasn't very helpful, but aside from that I thought we would have pretty good conditons. Pre-frontal, two days of significant...
It's been pretty warm for this time of year. Things warming up faster??
My buddy Dave and I fished all day with Scott Donovan (thank you Scott) and while it was beautiful out and we fished super-hard, it was a bit tough. Tougher than I thought it would be with the...
Thanks! That's pretty much what I figured.... Kinkaid looks to be about 5-10 warmer than the online temperature gauge for the Lake of the Ozarks I've been checking.
Bueller..........Bueller.........
What are the temps looking like after this cold past week?
Chad,
Sorry for the delay... waiting on my fishing buddy since my kid will be on spring break. If you're still open let's do it... the 22nd.
Thanks,
Russ
Chad,
Russ Murphy here. My son Ian and I fished with you last April or so.
I'd love to take the 20th if it's still open.
I'll send you a p.m too.
Anyone fish Sunday? It looked like it might have been pretty decent given the three days of warming and ahead of last night's front.
Didn't hear any (wasn't listening) but saw a good-sized tom while we were fishing two weeks ago.
Live bait.
Whether they're ready to go or not is dependant on the wonderfully stable weather we get down here this time of year. That's a joke by the way.
Low's in the 20's or low's in the 50's. Who know's? ...
Hopefully Scott won't mind me chiming in.
IIRC water temps in the am were around 45 degrees. By late afternoon we saw 48-49 degrees.
Thanks again Scott for your tenacity and hard work. You/we definitely worked for the the fish, but that's half the fun. Ian is just about done editing the video footage and we'll either post it on...
