The muskies kicked our butts yesterday. The fish seemed to be in ‘cold front mode’ due to the rapidly dropping water temps. It will likely be more of the same with this chilly front coming...

After some deliberation, we chased river walleye primarily but wouldn't have been sad if something else jumped on the line. We ended up with zero walleye, several bass and a few pike. Largest bass...

The mission was to chase walleye and muskies. We landed 0 walleye after rolling 2 nice ones early in the morning and caught a few very decent pike. No bass caught which was surprising to me. Here...

The heavily stained water pattern we have been on for a few weekends did not pan out yesterday. When the decision is made to go hunt a larger caliber musky, the results aren’t always pleasing. My...

We hunted muskies yesterday and it was a little slow for us but Jeff grinded out a decent but memorable boatside-smashing fish. We saw 1 fish and caught 1 fish at 11:15. My pattern from last few...

After a slow morning (which triggered flashbacks of the day before), we started moving a few fish. I had a decent fish slap my Medussa at boatside and flashed off. Matt had an entertaining musky...

Yesterday’s musky hunt was a tough one. We threw everything at them but couldn’t get them to move. Back at it again this morning to see if we can find someone hungry.

    Stay tuned.

Today’s musky hunt went well with 3 hooked and a 40.5 in the bag.

I hooked a mid-40’s fish around 9am, handed off the rod just as the fish started charging the boat. The result = lost fish.

We pounded the water today in search of Esox and we had 1 small fish slap at a bucktail. That was it.

Same program tomorrow so let’s see what happens.

We decided to cancel our musky hunt due to obvious weather develpments. Looks like about 5 inches coming to Warren County.

I finally got my hands on a pic of Horseshoe’s 51” from the LSC tourney. (Yes, we call him Horseshoe because he attracts big muskies.)
