Spent all last week in the area. Caught lots of Crappies in the shallow areas with brush. Fishing behind Edgewater really slowed down the last few days of the week, and I believe they are done...

My dad and I brought home 25 Crappies on Friday. Only 2 on Saturday after the drop in temp. Fishing fairly shallow with 1/32 ounce jigs tipped with minnow.

Was in the bay behind Edgewater marina this weekend. Water temps were in the high 50's Friday but went down to the mid 50's with the change in weather. Main lake must be colder.

Are the crappies moving in shallow yet or is it still way early. Coming up this weekend and then the 2nd week May. Just wondering where to start. Thanks!
