Skunked again......but that's OK. What a great body of water to be on! Fished many of the popular spots on the east side. When we were leaving, we didn't see a boat on Pete's....a first for me!

Just a tad under 48" is my largest and not on the Chip. Matter 'o fact....I've never caught a 'ski on the Chip but it's still my favorite body of water in Wisconsin!
Time for a few kids now! (?)
R&R Bayview but that was from a couple of years ago.
Make sure the legs on the u-shaped clevis are both perfectly parallel and perpendicular to the shaft. Bend the leg(s) with a needlenose pliers. Start reeling an instant BEFORE the bucktail hits the...
Only caught 4 in 13 days of fishing???!!! Must be nice!!!! LOL!!!!
Ty or anybody,
What are you seeing for water temps? Weather 4cast for the next week looks like temps in the low-mid 80's.
Found on his website that he's on the Legend Boats staff.......
Ty,
The gentleman that invited us to fish with him knows you and said you were running a new boat this year but couldn't remember the brand. Can you share with me what it is and the odel?

Ty, thanks for the reply. My guess is that you were on the water and know the conditions that we faced. We started fishing at 5:30 AM in what I thought would be grade A...
Ifishskis Jr. and I are meeting a friend for a day of ski fishing on the Chip this coming Saturday. As we do not own a boat right now, any time we can go is a good one, and we are VERY appreciative...
You got it shore fishing? Cool!!
Thin profile bucktails like the Ghosttail have always been popular. Green blade with black hair is a popular choice . Double 10's seem to be getting their share of fish. And surface baits like the...
With the hot muggy weather and a new moon, I just have a feeling that the skis are going to go nutz over the next couple of days!
I was 5'ish (?) years ago that we had the same cool crummy spring...
To keep costs down you might look at the various musky/fishing boards to find used equipment. What most people call "used" has been pretty much "new" to me. The people selling the stuff will tell...
It's a typical fall day here in the Rice Lake area. 53 degrees, some wind and a hint of rain in the air. WAIT....it's June 23rd!!! LOL!!
I'm afraid to take our lab puppy (5 months) into a boat!
Here's what I can offer:
#1 - I try to remember to set the hook at least in an upward motion. Sure back is better but sometimes the angle isn't there. "Up" has worked very well for me through...
Nice fish Carl! How does your dog act in the boat? Has he/she ever dived in after a lure?
x2! very nice fish guys!
I would also be interested in a Purple Perch.
IFS Sr.
If memory serves, the President/Owner/?? of Sebile in Europe sent it to John. Maybe call Rob Mathie or email John oe Sebile to find out where you could get one?
If it were me I'd buy the unit that will allow you to follow depth contours. Money well spent.
But I'm not Ty or Corey so don't listen to me......
Dave,
I guess I shouldn't have added the word "bigger" in my post. A higher thrust t-motor will push a boat faster assuming the thrust rating is appropriate for the size of the boat.
You...
